Conductometric measurements of tetrabutylammonium perchlorate in propylene carbonate-acetonitrile and propylene carbonate-toluene mixtures at 25°C are reported. Limiting molar conductances, association constants and distance of closest approach of ions are calculated. The experimental data were analyzed by means of the Lee-Wheaton equation. The Hamaker constant of unsized intermediate modulus carbon fibers was evaluated by contact angle measurement following the Fowkes theory of interfacial energetics. The effects of a surface treatment (performed by the manufacturer) and an oxygen plasma treatment (performed by us), both of oxidizing nature, proved to slightly increase the value of the Hamaker constant to a level that enhanced by about 9% the Lifshitz-van der Waals contribution to the theoretical adhesion force between the fiber and an epoxy matrix. A possible explanation of the observed increase of the Hamaker constant is the higher contribution to the overall Lifshitz-van der Waals interaction of Keesom (orientation) and Debye (induction) forces. 相似文献

The Fe(OH)3 precursor was prepared by solid -state reaction with Fe(NO3)3·9H2O, NaOH and dispersed poly-ethylene glycol at low heating temperature(25 ℃). Synthesis of iron oxide (γ-Fe2O3) nanoparticle was achieved by thermal decomposition of Fe(OH)3·xH2O precursor. The nanoparticle was characterized by TG-DTA, X-ray diffra-ction, TEM etc. The results showed that the nanoparticle was composed of γ-Fe2O3 and was a better absorber for electromagnetic wave within the low frequency band. 相似文献

Highly (110)-oriented Ba0.65Sr0.35TiO3 films were deposited on Pt/LaNiO3/SiO2/Si substrates by a sol–gel method. It was found that the (110)-preferred Pt film was very effective for growing (110)-oriented
ferroelectric films with perovskite structure. The as-grown Ba0.65Sr0.35TiO3 films showed good dielectric properties with dielectric constant and loss tangent tan δ = 0.026. Excellent dielectric tunability was also achieved in the (110)-oriented films. With applying
an electric field of 230 kV/cm at 100 kHz, the dielectric tunability and the figure of merit can reach up to 63.4% and 16,
respectively. These results indicate that the highly (110)-oriented Ba0.65Sr0.35TiO3 film is a promising candidate for the applications in microwave tunable devices. 相似文献

A novel fluorinated epoxy resin, 1,1-bis(4-glycidylesterphenyl)-1-(3′-trifluoromethylphenyl)-2,2,2-trifluoroethane (BGTF), was synthesized through a four-step procedure, which was then cured with hexahydro-4-methylphthalic anhydride (HMPA) and 4,4′-diaminodiphenyl-methane (DDM). As comparison, a commercial available epoxy resin, bisphenol A diglycidyl ether (BADGE), cured with the same curing agents was also investigated. We found that the BGTF gave the exothermic starting temperature lower than BADGE no mater what kind of curing agents applied, implying the reactivity of the former is higher than the latter. The fully cured fluorinated BGTF epoxy resins have good thermal stability with glass transition temperature of 170-175 °C and thermal decomposition temperature at 5% weight loss of 370-382 °C in nitrogen. The fluorinated BGTF epoxy resins also showed the mechanical properties as good as the commercial BADGE epoxy resins. The cured BGTF epoxy resins exhibited improved dielectric properties as compared with the BADGE epoxy resins with the dielectric constants and the dissipation factors lower than 3.3 and dissipation 2.8 × 10−3, respectively, which is related to the low polarizability of the C-F bond and the large free volume of CF3 groups in the polymer. The BGTF epoxy resins also gave low water absorption because of the existence of hydrophobic fluorine atom. 相似文献

This article is a critical analysis of kinetic dataavailable on carbocationic polymerizations. A survey of published propagation rate constant (kp) data revealed several orders of magnitude differences. In this article, an explanation of this apparent discrepancy is offered with a case study involving the carbocationic polymerization of 2,4,6‐trimethylstyrene (TMS). With the polymerization mechanism originally proposed for this system, kp = 1.35 × 104 L mol?1 s?1 was extracted from experimental data with the Predici polyreaction package. The alternative mechanism yielded kp = 1.01 × 107 L mol?1 s?1, close to that predicted by Mayr's Linear Free Energy Relationship (LFER). We propose that true rate constants can only be obtained from direct competition experiments or from kinetic interpretation based on independently proven mechanisms. The second part of this review discusses critical analysis of the temperature and concentration dependence of various living IB systems. Comparison of the temperature dependence in systems initiated with 2‐ chloro‐2,4, 4‐ trimethylpentane (TMPCl)/TiCl4 from various laboratories yielded of ΔH ~?25 and ?34.5 kJ/mol for high and low TMPCl/TiCl4 ratios, respectively. Aromatic (cumyl‐type) initiators show ΔH ~ ?40 kJ/mol, whereas H2O/TiCl4 in the presence of the strong electron‐ pair donor dimethylacetamide gave ΔH = ?12 kJ/mol. The results from the measurement of the fluorescence spectrum showing the binding characteristics of acridine orange (AO) and bovine serum albumin (BSA) are reported. It was found that the equilibrium constant k=4848.64 l mol−1, and the number of binding sites n=0.82. Based on the mechanism of the Forster energy transference, the transfer efficiency of energy and distance between the acceptor AO and BSA were found. The interaction between AO and BSA have been verified as consistent with the static quenching procedure and the quenching mechanism is related to the energy transfer. 相似文献

Nucleophilic addition of alkyl- and benzylthiols to benzoquinone diimine (1) gave the corresponding 3-alkylthio- or 3-benzylthio-1,4-phenylenediamines (2-5). However, addition of aryl- or heteroarylthiols to 1 formed 2-arylthio- or 2-heteroarylthio-1,4-phenylenediamines (6-14). The structures of 2-14, obtained in 55-91% yields, were confirmed in CDCl3 or DMSO-d6 solution using 1D (NOE difference, coupled 13C NMR spectra, APT and DEPT) and 2D NMR techniques [DQCOSY, NOESY, HETCOR and heteronuclear multiple bond coherence (HMBC)] that resulted in unambiguous proton and carbon NMR resonance assignments. Using probabilistic tools, we give tight upper and lower bounds for the Kirchhoff index of any d‐regular N‐vertex graph in terms of d, N, and the spectral gap of the transition probability matrix associated to the random walk on the graph. We then use bounds of the spectral gap of more specialized graphs, available in the literature, in order to obtain upper bounds for the Kirchhoff index of these specialized graphs. The carbohydrate research has emerged as a "new frontier" in chemical/biological field. The binding of lectin with carbohydrate is one of the important courses of life activities. The report studies concanavalin A (Con A)-glycogen interaction on gold electrode surfaces by electrochemical piezoelectric quartz crystal impedance (EPQCI) method. The piezoelectric quartz crystal (PQC) parameters, resonant frequency shift (Deltaf(0)) and the motional resistance change (DeltaR(1)), and the electrochemical impedance (EI) parameters, electrolyte resistance change (DeltaR(s)) and the double layer capacitance change (DeltaC(s)), were measured and discussed simultaneously. Two methods were adopted for measuring the Con A-glycogen association. Based on EPQCI measurement during Con A reaction with glycogen adsorbed on Au electrode, association constant K(a) and the amount of the binding sites s calculated are 1.48 x 10(6) M(-1) and 4.09, respectively. Based on single PQC measurement of glycogen reaction with Con A assembled on Au electrode, K(a) was estimated to be 1.26 x 10(6) M(-1). 相似文献
